Hello there!

What IS Photo Art? The simple answer is it is whatever you want it to be! Actually, it is a form of scrapbooking. I like the term "Photo Art" because most folks think of scrapbooking as taping some tickets and a photo or two into a blank pages scrapbook.

Photo art is so much more! I study a photo untill I get an idea, and then I go for it! By adding embellishments and text and/or journaling, I create the  story of a memory!

I became interested in digital scrapbboking when I was going through a major family crisis, leading to a deep depression. Scrapbooking gave me an outlet, allowing me to distract myself, while creating beautiful pages of memories. This form of self-therapy slowly drew me out and helped me cope with my spirit crushing sadness.

I take extra care with client's photos. All photos are scanned, if needed, and burned to DVD immediately. I then work with the scanned images. Client's images are also saved to an online back up service, so no images are ever lost. Originals are returned once scanning is complete.
